Joe's single "Deep Into You" has just been signed by SRS Labs, an audio sound corporation based in California, for streaming use on their corporate website. Morristown, NJ (Billboard Publicity Wire) June 14, 2008 -- Pop-Rock Singer-Songwriter Joe Colledge has just announced the release of his new single, 'American Dream', on independent label, OMS Records. The song will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and most major digital distributors through BFM Digital, LLC.

The song is inspired by the events of 9/11 and pays tribute to America's resolve after the tragedy. Colledge had previously released a demo of the song under the title 'American Song' on his 2005 LP release, 'Convent Station'. The track was licensed by Navy Videos and featured as the theme song on their products and merchandise. The new version has just been signed by music publisher, Original Source Music, who will actively promote the song for film and TV placement.

Colledge has been garnering much praise from the indie music community since the release of his previous LP, 'Table For One', released in June of 2007. His band has been busy performing in support of the release in such New York Metro area venues as The Bitter End, Maxwell's, and The Saint.

Meanwhile, Joe Colledge is in the studio currently recording his third album, on which 'American Dream' will appear. The album is slated for a Spring 2009 release. Be sure to check his website for more news and updates on performances and the new album release date in the future.

Colorado-based music publisher, Original Source Music, has just announced a deal to sign 10 of Joe's songs from his "Table For One" LP to their catalog for Film & TV placement. President Lecia Lynn says "Joe's songs are really fantastic! I look forward to finding a home for them in movies and on TV shows as source music."

Joe has just announced that he has recently signed an artist endorsement contract with Knucklehead Guitar Strings, an up-and-coming guitar strings company from Utah. Yes, it's true...after all of the blood, sweat, and tears, "Table For One" is finished, wrapped up, in the bag...we'll be kicking things off with the CD Release Party on June 16th at The Side Bar - join us if you can. A lot of work went into this and I'm extremely proud of the result - I hope all of you will be too. The album should be available via CD Baby, Amazon, and iTunes on June 5th, so be sure to purchase your copy (I'm old-school...I encourage everyone to be a fan of "music" and buy the physical CD instead of downloading). But that's up to you, whatever makes you happy. What will make me happy is knowing all of you enjoy the album...so please, write to me, sign the guestbook, post a comment on my MySpace site - let me know what you think - good and bad (I have extremely thick skin so if you hate it, tell me). And please - help spread the word by telling your family, friends, and colleagues about the record and where they can buy a copy. More info to come, but that's about it for now. It's late and I have over 1000 CDs to carry down to my music studio in the basement. Also have to get to bed so I'm well-rested for my performance tomorrow - playing guitar for my daughter's Spring Concert - some Gershwin classic called "I Got Rhythm"? The title track for the upcoming album, "Table For One", was recently named a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. This competition is considered by most in the music industry to be the premier songwriting event in the world, having launched many artists careers and bringing recognition to several indie artists over the years. Hopefully, it will be named # 1 in the AAA category (Adult Album Alternative)...stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the new website. A new chapter is about to be opened in my musical future. As most of you know, I have parted ways - amicably - with the Joe Colledge Band and am now free to focus on my solo career.
